Job Description
We are looking for a Data Analyst with 3–4 years of experience and Dataiku certification to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data preparation, data analysis, SQL, data visualization, and building analytical workflows using Dataiku. The candidate will work closely with business and technical teams to understand business requirements, analyze data, identify meaningful insights, and develop data-driven solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with business stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Perform data extraction, cleaning, preparation, transformation, and analysis using Dataiku and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain Dataiku workflows and analytical pipelines for different business use cases.
- Use SQL to extract, join, transform, and analyze data from multiple sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and business insights.
- Develop analytical datasets and prepare data for reporting, visualization, and advanced analytics.
- Create and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization platforms.
- Work with large and complex datasets and ensure data quality and accuracy.
- Collaborate with data scientists, business analysts, and other technical teams to support analytics projects.
- Document data workflows, analytical methodologies, and findings.
- Present analytical findings and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders.
- Support the development and implementation of analytics use cases across different business functions.
- Troubleshoot data and workflow-related issues and continuously improve existing analytical processes.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–4 years of relevant experience as a Data Analyst / Business Data Analyst.
- Dataiku certification is mandatory.
- Hands-on experience working with Dataiku DSS and developing data preparation/analytics workflows.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Good understanding of data cleaning, data transformation, data validation, and exploratory data analysis.
- Experience with at least one visualization tool such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Good understanding of data analytics concepts and statistical fundamentals.
- Experience working with multiple data sources and integrating data for analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with Python for data analysis.
- Experience with APIs, databases, cloud platforms, or ETL/ELT processes.
- Exposure to machine learning concepts and Dataiku ML capabilities.
- Experience working on analytics projects across industries such as retail, banking, FMCG, healthcare, or other business domains.
- Experience in developing end-to-end analytics use cases using Dataiku.
- Knowledge of data governance and data quality practices.

LOCATION & TRAVEL (Immediate Joiners preferred)
- The position will be based out of Pune. The candidate should be willing to travel to Mumbai and other cities across India as required for client meetings, business requirements, project discussions, or other work-related activities.
