Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist with specialty in Marketing Mix Modelling and other Marketing Analytics experience to join our growing team Business Analytics division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing marketing analytics projects and developing market mix models for clients in the GCC region, with a focus on the UAE market. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing actionable insights and recommendations to help clients enhance their marketing effectiveness and drive business growth.

The position will report to the Analytics Business Vertical Lead.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the development and implementation of Marketing mix models and other Business Intelligence solutions such as Forecasting solutions, Research Analytics for our clients.
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business objectives, data requirements, and marketing challenges.
  • The candidate will be responsible for Client Communication, Client Satisfaction and Client Management throughout the project.
  • Design and execute data collection, cleansing, and analysis processes to gather relevant inputs for the models.
  • Utilize statistical techniques and advanced analytics tools to develop robust market mix models that accurately measure the impact of various marketing channels on business outcomes.
  • Interpret model results and translate complex findings into actionable insights and recommendations for clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, analysts, and client stakeholders, to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging methodologies in marketing analytics and market mix modelling.
  • Provide thought leadership & initiatives, including white papers, articles, and conference presentations, to showcase our expertise in analytics solutions.

Experience Required

  • 8 to 10+ Years previous work experience as a Data & Analytics professional in areas related to consumer, research, and marketing analytics. Market Mix Modelling experience is a must.

LOCATION

  • India (work from home is possible) or from our offices in Bangalore & Pune.
  • UAE (Dubai) as an alternative

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, with a focus on market mix modelling and attribution modelling.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and programming languages such as R, Python, SPSS or SAS. Qualification in Dataiku tool would be an added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of research and marketing principles, including digital marketing channels, traditional media, and promotional strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering analytics projects and driving business impact.
  • Experience working with clients in the GCC region, particularly in the UAE market, is preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
